It was mentioned a few weeks ago that Matthew was in the midst of recording a new album.  Word is that he has finished recording and that the songs have been sent out for mixing.  All in all we are still a few months away from some new sounds.  It is pretty obvious that Save You and Without a Clue will be on the album, but what else?  Post your guesses in the comments section below.

Congratulations are in order for Matthew and Meghan, as they celebrate the birth of their daughter, Canaan Elizabeth Jones. Canaan was born Saturday, March 15th, at 2:45 am. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 3 1/2 oz.

Matthew will be opening for Garrison Starr. It was reported to us that the confirmed date would be October 14 at the Hi-Tone Cafe, Memphis, TN. However, this date is in conflict with Garrison Starr’s tour calendar, which has her playing October 12 at Hi-Tone Cafe. Stay tuned for updated information.

Following its appearance in ABC Family’s Kyle XY, Save You is set to appear in an upcoming episode of ABC’s Private Practice. Save You is also set to appear in the commercial leading up to the episode. At present, it is unclear in which episode it will appear.
