Matthew will appear on both Good Day Atlanta (Fox affiliate) and Atlanta’s Dave FM (92.9) this Friday, August 15. His appearance on Good Day Atlanta will be between 8-9 AM, while his appearance on Dave FM will fall between 9-10 AM (slated around 9:45 AM). Be sure to tune in!

…The show kicked off with Griffin House and his girl-grabbing “The Guy That Says Goodbye to You Is Out of His Mind.” It’s the song that every girl wants to believe is about her. I know there are a few of these out there, but this one is in the top five, at least. (Clarification: by “girl-grabbing” I don’t mean some smarmy story of conquest, I just mean that it reaches into the female chest and wraps its gentle fist around the surely pitter-pattering heart.) House’s wide blue eyes offer as much truth as his melodic stories do, and his voice is one where silk and burlap are stitched close together. In between this first song and the last of the evening (encore excluded), Matthew Perryman Jones’ epic, heart-rending “Save You,” heavy with hope and poignancy, the ten artists dazzled the nearly thousand folks who were in the room with music from all genres and all points of view, but somehow keeping within a similar zealous tone….
